# Bush

Bush are an English [rock](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_music "Rock music") band formed in London in 1992. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist [Gavin Rossdale](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavin_Rossdale "Gavin Rossdale"), lead guitarist [Chris Traynor](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Traynor "Chris Traynor"), bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes.

In 1994, Bush found immediate success outside the UK with the release of their debut album, [Sixteen Stone](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixteen_Stone "Sixteen Stone"), which is certified six times [multi-platinum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIAA_certifications "RIAA certifications") by the [RIAA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recording_Industry_Association_of_America "Recording Industry Association of America").[\[1\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_(British_band)#cite_note-1) They went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990s, selling over ten million records in the United States and 20 million records worldwide.
