Blackthorn Academy student and Edric’s intellectual rival. Nisa is an exceptionally perceptive young mage from Edric Valemont’s academy days. She deliberately involved Edric in solving a complex two-person arcane ward, later revealing that the supposed prize had merely been an excuse to study how he thought. She considered Edric brilliant but dangerously undisciplined and warned that seeking power without understanding would eventually kill him.
