Thanlin

Underdark traveller and author of The Breath Beneath the Earth. Thalen Marris recorded his experiences travelling the Silken Path in a journal later recovered by the party. His writings warned that vibrations through the webs could carry hunting signals, that drow used and marked the pathways, and that things stranger than spiders moved silently among the strands. His warnings later allowed the party to recognise the ominous three-tug hunting signal before an attack.
