🎠Travelling Companions
Prince Derendil
Quaggoth former prisoner; self-proclaimed elven prince. Derendil is a large, powerful, bestial-looking quaggoth who insists that he is actually an elven prince trapped in his current form by a curse. Despite his intimidating appearance, he is intelligent, articulate, and capable of genuine loyalty toward the group. His memories of his supposed former life remain deeply important to him.
Ront
Orc former prisoner and front-line muscle. Ront is a blunt, aggressive orc from the Ice Shield tribe who has little patience for subtlety and an intense hatred of the drow. He is physically powerful, quick to anger, and frequently willing to throw himself into danger alongside the party. Beneath the rough exterior, he has repeatedly shown that he will stand up for his travelling companions when it matters.
Buppido
Derro former prisoner and unsettling travelling companion. Buppido is talkative, eccentric, and frequently difficult to read. He speaks about religion and his beliefs with strange intensity and has displayed behaviour that the party considers distinctly odd. Despite this, he has remained with the group since Velkynvelve and has fought alongside them when threatened.
Jimjar
Deep gnome former prisoner and compulsive gambler. Jimjar seems capable of turning almost any situation into an opportunity for a wager. Cheerful, irritating, and surprisingly useful in roughly equal measure, he possesses practical knowledge of the Underdark and its settlements and has remained a consistent travelling companion since the escape from Velkynvelve.
Fargus Rumblefoot
Halfling traveller and guide. Fargus was discovered alive inside a spider cocoon on the Silken Path and rescued by the party. After recovering, he offered his knowledge of the surrounding routes in exchange for a share of any treasure found along the way. He subsequently guided the group toward an ancient tomb and has continued travelling with them toward Gracklstugh.
Stool
Myconid sprout and telepathic companion. Stool is a small, young myconid rescued from captivity in Velkynvelve. His rapport spores allow nearby creatures to communicate telepathically, making him an unexpectedly important link within the otherwise very mixed travelling group. Stool is curious, vulnerable, and unusually perceptive about fungal life and some of the stranger forces encountered in the Underdark.
