🪐 Campaign Summary So Far (Sessions 1–5)

The party formed in Waterdeep, fought through sewers to rescue Floon Blagmaar, and survived a nightmare encounter that left Dren brain-devoured—only to be restored by a Wish spell Floon paid for. Volo couldn’t pay their reward in coin, so he handed over the deed to Trollskull Manor, which the party chose to renovate into a tavern and base of operations.

As Trollskull began to take shape—with staff hired and the poltergeist bartender Lith revealed—faction politics and trouble escalated fast. A fireball detonated outside Trollskull, killing civilians including Dalakhar, and dragging the party into the hunt for the Stone of Golorr. The Temple of Gond connected that blast to a rogue Nimblewright, and the sewers revealed a yuan-ti cult mid-ritual. The party survived by a hair, walked away with magical loot and Force Grey renown, but the Nimblewright remained at large.

The detector trail led to Gralhund Villa and a full-on bloodbath between Zhentarim agents and house forces. Slim Jim took the legal hit (10 days + fine), while the party later recovered the discarded Nimblewright and a mysterious map. In Session 5, the chase tightened: Grinda Garloth’s “Stone stash” was already looted, the rat familiar was found dead in a City of the Dead mausoleum, and invisible duergar tried to force the artifact out of the party’s hands. The Stone of Golorr is now missing, but the party has a key linked to a South Ward mill and fresh ties to the Harpers—right as Zhentarim and Xanathar pressures close in.

  • Session 4: Detector leads to Gralhund Villa; Zhentarim vs house battle; servant stabilized; Slim Jim arrested; later rogue Nimblewright recovered + hidden; map found.
  • Session 5: Dock Ward fight at Grinda’s boathouse; mausoleum search finds familiar dead and Stone missing; duergar ambush defeated; Nimblewright returned to Nim (inventions gained); Harpers contacted; key confirmed to South Ward mill.
